The Wireless Magnetic Door & Window Contact is designed to be mounted on your window frame / door frame and will detect when it is opened. Because of its wireless nature, it can be easily mounted out of direct view.
The contact sensor & transmitter is mounted on your door or window frame with a small magnet mounted on the actual door or window itself. When the magnet moves away from the sensor, it triggers the alarm. As a result of it's design, there are no moving parts so there are no switches or actual connections to ever wear out.
